Perkins Eastman is seeking recent graduates of accredited schools of architecture or interior design who are passionate about design and ready for the challenges of professional practice.  We offer a collaborative, supportive, and vibrant work environment, with an opportunity to work on a broad range of project types and scales in our Washington, DC office. 

Job Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with a project team, contributing to all phases of planning, design, documentation, and construction administration.
Produce effective visualizations and illustrations of projects for presentation to clients, public authorities, and partners.
Assist in the development of design concepts and technical details under the guidance of experienced architects.
Contribute to the preparation of construction drawings, following established standards and conventions for high quality projects and documents.
With the assistance of a Project Architect, review building codes and standards to evaluate design compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.
Advance high performance design strategies and systems integration in support of sustainable design certifications.

Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
Proficiency with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is required.  Experience with other software such as Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, or common digital rendering and predictive analytics programs is preferred.
Intellectual curiosity, eagerness to engage with others, and willingness to contribute to a healthy, vital workplace culture.
LEED accreditation, or comparable sustainability credential preferred, or expected within 18 months of hire.
