cox graae + spack architects was founded in Georgetown in 1981 to provide services in master planning, architecture and interior design. For over 37 years our firm has worked in the Washington DC area to create architecture and interiors of exceptional quality, winning over 75 national and regional design awards. With each project we strive to build long-term relationships with our clients by delivering outstanding technical and aesthetic services.

cox graae + spack architects is seeking a talented, driven and dedicated individual with design and technical skills and experience to work in a collaborative studio environment on an exciting and diverse portfolio of projects. 

The successful candidate should be a graduate with an architecture degree (from an accredited US institution of higher learning) and have 5-10 years experience working in a US architect’s office. BIM experience is preferred though training can be provided. Experience with SketchUp is also preferred. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment where creativity combines with sound design principles and technical execution to create projects that meet both the vision AND the functional needs of our clients.

Current projects include campus master planning, a range of public and private K-12 and higher education - new and adaptive reuse, churches, park and recreation centers and libraries among others. Construction values range from several hundred thousand dollars to over one hundred million dollars.
