HEWITT is seeking curious, urban-minded Project Architects and Designers to join our busy architecture studio.

We are an integrated architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design firm based in Seattle. Our focus is on city-building through innovative design solutions for multifamily housing, mixed-use and commercial development, civic and municipal facilities, and multi-modal transportation projects throughout the Puget Sound. Our ideal candidates are versatile, creative, and confident with all phases of project development from concepts to construction administration. They have strong design skills and enjoy finding solutions in complex conditions. Individuals find working as part of a multidisciplinary team to be fun, and also work well independently.  They strike a fine balance between form and function all while keeping focus on the people who will engage with the work. Our Project Architects & Designers Do:

Build trust and rapport with clients and project teams
Collaboratively contribute to all team, studio, and firm efforts
Develop projects under minimal supervision
Articulate design and construction concepts graphically in support of project goals
Complete accurate production work through all phases of design through completion
Coordinate design with affiliated project consultants
Coordinate with entitlement and permitting agencies
Prepare building details
Articulate design details for discussion and presentation to clients, agencies, and the community
Our Project Architects & Designers Have:

Considerable experience with significant design development experience; project experience with LEED certifications is a plus
Professional registration and certifications (LEED AP) or pathway to licensure encouraged
Professional degree (Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or similar)
Demonstrated proficiency with Revit
US citizenship or hold a US work visa
