Butler Armsden Architects is fortunate to find itself in a position of continuous growth with new projects in San Francisco and all over the Bay Area, including high-end modern homes, historic renovations and multiple LEED residences. We are looking to expand our team of 29 and hire an Intermediate Designer.
Our office promotes independence and creativity, as well as the ability to run projects and handle the larger issues down to the most intricate details. We will work with you on your LEED certification and AXP requirements. Multitasking and time management skills are strongly valued as is a good sense of humor.

The Intermediate Designer will be responsible for development of details and for providing assistance in the production of project presentation drawings and construction documents under the supervision of a Project Manager.
Tasks will include:
*Permit management and organization
*Drawing set coordination
*Construction Administration assistance
*Material selection and schedules
* 3-5 years experience
* Architecture degree from an accredited architecture school
* A strong sense of presentation skills and graphics
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of SF Building codes is an asset
* LEED certification preferred
* Interior design experience is a plus
