M. Arch degree preferred, B. Arch recipients with production experience encouraged to apply
- 0-5 years of professional experience
- For more junior applicants, Abode Creative Suite and Microsoft Office experience required, high skill level and efficiency in AutoCAD, competent modeling and rendering skills, preferably in SketchUp and by hand
- Construction document experience is preferred
- Ability to prioritize workload, often working on multiple projects at a time.
- Ability to work and complete tasks with minimal supervision, while also being able to judge when to seek guidance  
- Authorization to work in the U.S. 

Jennifer Weiss Architecture is a thriving design-oriented architecture studio.  The studio’s work has been published in Dwell Magazine, California Home and Design, House Beautiful, San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, Remodelista, and used in an advertisement for Apple, Inc.

We are currently seeking Architects and Designers.  As part of a small office, you will have the opportunity to work on and learn about multiple aspects of the projects, with responsibilities for entry level including drafting, modeling, design explorations, assistance with design development, assistance in generating documentation (schematic, design development, permit, construction documents, etc.), physical and computer model making, and miscellaneous contributions to the project such as setting up presentations, ordering samples, product research, and assisting the team, collaborating with and learn from the team to develop skills, assume responsibilities and ideally and ultimately become a part of the leadership long term.

Some general office administrative tasks will also be included in your responsibilities. More experienced team members will have more autonomy and more design, production and management responsibilities. We are seeking team members with excellent design, communication, interpersonal and graphic skills.  Our team consists of talented, intelligent, highly educated, resourceful, creative, positive, tenacious, detail oriented, thorough and self-starting individuals, and we look for the same in this position.
