KERMAN MORRIS ARCHITECTS LLP (, a small established design-oriented architectural firm in Duboce Triangle specializing in Multi-Unit/Mixed-Use Infill and Custom Residential projects in San Francisco, is looking for a motivated and personable architect with 5-7+ years experience to work on a broad range of housing and mixed use projects. Excellent communication, design, project management, detailing and computer skills are required.

The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in and a passion for housing and residential design, and be licensed, or close to it. We work fast and collaboratively in a friendly environment and we run many projects simultaneously. Design excellence is paramount, so too are functionality and constructability.


5-7 years professional experience, including housing and single family design
BS/BA Degree in Architecture (masters preferred)
Excellent design, production and organizational skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
Fluency in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop and Illustrator
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Current residence in the United States (Preferably in San Francisco Bay Area)


Design & Develop projects of different scales including organizing, executing & coordination
Project Management, including preparation of design and construction documents, consultant coordination, approvals and construction administration.
Assist Project Teams and other staff members as needed
