Jackson Liles Architecture is seeking an intern Architect with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a young designer to get hands on experience in all aspects of projects in a collaborative, supportive and dynamic environment. 

Our work emphasizes a modern, highly functional approach to solving complex problems. Our projects span many different types and scales and at the moment we have a diverse mix of interesting design projects in our studio ranging from the design of a large, complex urban industrial development, to residential new and renovated homes, to the design of a new recreation center and the adaptive re-use of a historic clubhouse at a local park, to designing a new kitchen production facility and headquarters for a local non-profit organization, and more.   Our projects seek to engage and improve how the built environment supports living – at work, at home, or in the community–with creative and beautiful solutions to complex challenges.  

Jackson Liles Architecture is located on Third Street in the bustling Dogpatch area of San Francisco; our studio is a light filled and energetic environment that currently has a staff of 7 architects and designers. We have LEED Accredited Professionals and a Certified Green Business Professional on staff, and are a SF Human Rights Commission certified Woman Owned business.

This is a full-time position at our studio, we are not able to offer a part-time or off-site arrangement at this time. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Bachelor or Master’s degree from an accredited Architecture program, currently pursuing licensure

•1-3 years previous experience working in an architecture firm

•A sharp sense of design & the ability to work in a team environment

•Experience with the design process and construction documentation

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Revit proficiency and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs

•Be self-motivated, reliable and have a great sense of humor

•Current legal US work authorization
