Komorous-Towey Architects is an award winning firm with deep green built projects and a Net Zero project in the works. We are looking for an Intermediate Designer/Architect/Job Captain to help us with project management, client interface and production. We work collaboratively, but independent work is essential as well.

We look at each project as an opportunity to creatively maximize the project’s sustainability, design and environmental components. We have completed cutting edge LEED Platinum projects and are currently working on a $50m Net Zero project. Our built work includes the Alameda Cineplex and Parking structure, San Francisco City Hall Improvements Project, headquarters, offices for United Cerebral Palsy of the Golden Gate and Integral Group among others.

Our office is in a historic building located in downtown Oakland, steps from BART and the First Fridays Art Walk/Art Murmur.


·         A professional degree from an accredited architecture program, license a plus

·         AutoCad proficiency, REVIT a plus

·         Familiarity with the CBC and thorough knowledge of accessibility codes

·         Rendering ability with SketchUp

·         Graphic design - Photoshop (InDesign, Illustrator is a plus)

·         LEED AP is preferred
