Intern Architect

San Francisco, CA
Lincoln Lighthill Architect

Description & Details

Lincoln Lighthill Architect is a full-service architecture firm located in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. We are a small, non-traditional office, prioritizing our quality of life in and out of the office as well as the highest standards of design.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to play a key role in a variety of design-oriented projects, and seek something different than what the big downtown firms can offer, look no further.

We are looking for someone to join us for the summer and possibly beyond, depending on your schedule and experience, and our workload. You will be involved in a wide range of projects, including several cafes in design and construction for Blue Bottle coffee, a restaurant in the Mission District, a prefab office building in Hollywood, and other custom residential and commercial projects.

We are looking for a highly creative, skilled and driven individual, ideally with firm experience, but this is not required if you can demonstrate aptitude and ability.

Desired skills:

-Working towards a B.Arch. or M. Arch. from an accredited architecture school.

-Proficiency in Vectorworks, Sketchup, V-ray and Adobe Creative Suite preferred. In our experience, AutoCAD users can make the jump to Vectorworks without difficulty.

-Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

-Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.

-Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

-Must currently live in the Bay Area and hold a valid US passport, green card, or work visa.
