Martin Brudnizki Design Studio (MBDS) is an internationally acclaimed interior architecture and design firm based in New York and London. MBDS is composed of interior designers, interior architectural, furniture and product designers with a focus on creating inspiring spaces for luxury hotels, restaurants, bars, lounges and private members' clubs alongside residential developments and a select clientele's dream homes, worldwide.
The New York studio is seeking junior to mid-level architectural CAD designers to join our team to participate in a wide range of exciting hospitality and commercial projects.

The Jr./Mid-level designer will be responsible for developing layouts and construction documents from start to finish. You will attend and actively participate in meetings and prepare applicable meeting documents/schedules. The designer will also meet with key stakeholders (e.g., clients) to convey design intent. When necessary, he/she will also develop new fixture shop drawings as well as 3d renderings and conduct site visits for site surveys and punch-lists.
Job Requirements: (Minimum)
2-5 years of high-end hospitality and/or commercial architectural experience. **MBDS is not seeking interns at this time. Experience with managing both the design process and developing concise and comprehensive construction documents. (Must be able to assemble a complete drawing set) Demonstrated creative abilities, sketching, conceptual rendering, and space planning. Strong working knowledge of basic fixture and cabinet construction detailing and methods. Ability to create basic 3D renderings. Understanding of electrical and plumbing systems and design. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal. Ability to work self-sufficiently, multi-task and prioritize tasks/assignments. Accustomed to managing multiple concurrent assignments. Strong organizational skills. Good understanding of building codes, ADA code and interior standards. Strong interest in Interior Space Planning (with a focus on Hospitality Design Experience a big plus). Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Suite. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel). Bachelor degree required, focus in architecture Major opportunity for growth.
