Sygrove Design Group is looking for a highly-organized, self-starter with project management, problem solving and strong CAD skills to join our team! Primarily, he or she will be responsible for preparing construction documents of our team’s designs and taking ownership to manage the project in the field. This is a full time role.

 What you’ll do:

Participate with the team in overall design process from concept to completion, with focus on the completion of the approved finalized design scheme
Accurate site measuring and existing conditions drawings – return to verify
Prepare a complete set of CAD drawings and specifications for the contract documents that are submitted for competitive bidding including but not limited to, floor plans, RCP, elevations, lighting and electrical, cabinetry and millwork drawings and all schedules such as finish, hardware, lighting, etc.
Coordinate our work with outside consultants such as expeditors, lighting designers, engineers and licensed architects
Level incoming contractors’ bids into a comparative spreadsheet including the costs of soft goods provided by Owner
Lead weekly on-site project meetings, review contractors’ work, troubleshoot, answer questions and prepare meeting notes that will be distributed to all attendees including the client, contractors and those who need to know
Follow up on weekly tasks with information needed for subsequent meetings throughout the project
Prepare a quality control punch list and follow up on any outstanding items to close out the job
 Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in architecture
2 to 4 years of experience in an architectural or interior design office
Natural team player and collaborator
Flexible and able to multitask seamlessly
Eager to learn Sygrove design and project management methodology ·       
Thrives in a fast-paced work environment – with and without coffee
Passionate problem solver who takes initiative
Exceptional communications skills both written and speaking
Fluent in English
Skills include CAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Excel, Sketchup 2018. VRay 3.6 is a plus
