CannonDesign has an exceptional opportunity for an Architect to perform in a  Project Architect/Technical Leader role based in our NYC office. This position will be responsible for leading teams in the development and integration of all technical aspects and content of projects.  Primary responsibilities will include:  
Integrate all building systems design into a holistic design solution.
Coordinate work with all disciplines to ensure an integrated set of deliverables that is consistent with our standards.
Develop technical performance goals and verify compliance through team collaboration.
Coordination of code and life safety issues with teams and external consultants. 
Provide risk assessments for early design activities.
Resolve detail solutions that align with goals and minimize risk.
Integration of sustainability into the design solutions and systems.
Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control leadership, integrating activities with the Firms QA/QC protocols.
Bachelor in Architecture required. Licensed architect preferred.  Minimum of 10  years of experience leading the integration of technical design solutions for health, education and/or science and technology  projects required.  Must have experience leading BIM project production teams, familiarity with Revit, and be proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision as well as other data management software.
