Our office has an immediate opening for an Assistant Project Manager. Job tasks include:
Review and interpret construction documents
Coordinate between various trades
Prepare, process, and maintain request for information (RFI)
Prepare, review, process, and maintain submittals and shop drawings
Resolve problems that arise during the course of the project
Prepare, review and process closeout submittals and perform periodic QA/QC construction site visits, including substantial presence at the construction site.
Attend routine site meetings to coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors and the design team
Writing meeting minutes and tracking project logs
Organize project files
Prepare change orders
Prepare sketches to coordinate with the architect and subcontractors
Perform quantity take-offs for purposes of material orders
Prepare, track, and organize correspondence with subcontractors including soliciting bids, preparing contracts, and coordinate project details
1+ years of experience in construction administration and/or architecture design experience.
Bachelors in Architecture (licensed architect preferred).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration and conflict resolution skills preferred.
Proficiency in Autocad and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Revit a plus, but not necessary.
