A Long Island City architectural firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Intermediate Architect with 3-5 years of applicable experience for immediate hire.
Desired Skills and Experience
We are seeking an applicant with familiarity in all stages of design from project scoping, design development, construction drawings, to construction administration. Prior construction administration experience, particularly in existing building alteration and/or restoration, is highly recommended. Applicants should be organized, self-motivated capable, and capable of progressing projects to meet predetermined project deadlines.
Responsibilities will include
Preparation of Bidding Documents and Specifications
Preparation of DOB & LPC Filing Drawings
Building Investigations & Facade Inspections
Creation of meeting notes and field reports
Our principal has over 30+ years of experience working in the greater NYC area and an extensive knowledge of construction systems and detailing. Our office is conveniently located in Long Island City with access to the several subway lines.
