New York, NY
PALETTE ARCHITECTURE was founded in 2010 by three partners and has grown its practice creating built landscape, commercial and residential projects throughout New York City. The firm utilizes a pragmatic approach to explore the creative opportunities of each project. From inception through completion, design concepts are developed and iterated on with input from clients, engineers, code parameters, and contractors. The firm has developed a design-build wing to forge a closer relationship between architecture and construction. The feedback loop created by this practice informs design decisions and insures delivery of high-quality, complex projects. Current work includes single and multi-family residential, office, restaurant, retail and hospitality.
This job offers opportunities for a young architect to get experience with local projects at all stages. The small firm size, and hands on nature of the work will give the proper candidate a full understanding of what it takes to get projects built in New York City. You will work closely with partners, but also be responsible for carrying out selected tasks on your own.
