Schrimmer Design Group, a design-centered boutique interior architecture firm located in midtown Manhattan, is looking for experienced, talented and motivated individuals to join our vibrant staff of designers, managers and architects to meet the ever-growing and fast-paced needs of our well-established and new clientele. We’re looking for team-oriented and self-motivated people able to help take projects from the initial stages of programming, master planning and design through contract documents and construction. Responsibilities Include:

Production of multiple commercial, interior design and architecture projects
Involvement in all phases of project development from master planning, design and contract documents through construction
Ensuring high quality of service in technical production and communicating evolving project requirements to senior management and project teams
Organizing project workloads among technical staff and overseeing follow through on deliverables, budgets and schedules
Developing contract documents, coordinating specifications and defining project materials and details
Coordinating bidding processes, attending site meetings, reviewing shop drawings and overseeing projects during construction
Coordinating project consultants and technical requirements

Professional Degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) or interior design preferred
Licensure in NY preferred, LEED AP a plus
Minimum of 5-7 years’ high-end architecture and/or interior design experience (should be able to showcase finished/built work)
Familiarity with NYC building and zoning codes and approvals processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well either in a team or independently
Self-motivated technical architect with attention to detail & refined technical ability
Excellent communication skills, specifically with team members, consultants, contractors and senior management
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2012 or higher) and ability to follow standards and project protocols
Revit experience preferred but not required.
Preferred Supplemental Skills: Sketchup, 3D Studio Max, V-Ray and Adobe programs
