AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated Project Coordinator for immediate employment. The selected candidate will be required to mobilize to Miami, Florida, or other locations within the U.S. as designated by the client, to support Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recovery efforts associated with presidentially declared disasters. This position is for immediate deployment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Provide real time support to FEMA task monitor and AECOM Recovery management and field staff assigned to the disaster
Inspect damage to public infrastructure
Develop scopes of work and cost information/estimates for repair or replacement of disaster related damage
Develop and/or validate project worksheets (PWs) for eligible damages
Identify opportunities for hazard mitigation under the Hazard Mitigation Program
Review and compile information related to compliance with Section 428 of the Public Assistance Alternate Procedures Pilot Program
Other tasks as assigned
3+ years of experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Must possess valid driver's license
Experience implementing the Stafford Act in support of FEMA’s Public Assistance (PA) Program
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
