Architectural Designer 

Boston, MA

EYP is currently hiring an Architectural Designer to assist project teams and work on a variety of projects from schematic design through construction administration. This individual will:

Perform architectural assignments and works from designs of others, compile data, perform elementary design computations and prepare architectural plans and renderings
Perform graphic tasks according to the EYP Project Delivery Manual.
Understand and execute 'red marked' revisions
Develop detail sketches generated by Project Architects
Draft construction documents based on previously developed information
Demonstrate awareness of coordination with specifications
Demonstrate awareness of the implications of building codes and other regulatory requirements
Develop, modify and/or review drawings according to established standards
Develop solutions to technical problems
May supervise an Architectural Intern or Drafter during a portion of the job
Use technology and methodologies to create innovative approaches to building design
Consistently strive to improve technical quality of work product by keeping abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industry
Work collaboratively in a cross discipline environment to produce integrated project documents, and insure integrated design approaches and solutions
Professional degree in Architecture or equivalent
At least 4 years of related experience
Ability to use BIM software
Good communication skills
Ability to work with limited supervision
Ability to work successfully in projects teams
Ability to multitask
Ability to provide direction, as needed, to less senior members of the team
