Lawrence Group Austin is currently seeking a Texas Registered Architect with 5 - 10 years of design and construction experience for a combined Project Architect Position.  All Lawrence Group projects are led/managed by design-focused Architects who are active “on the boards” participants in all aspects of their projects and who work directly alongside Lawrence Group Principal, Earl Swisher.  Applicants must be Revit proficient and have the experience and passion to participate in all phases of both large and small-scale projects.  As part of a national network, including offices in Austin, St. Louis, NYC and Charlotte,Lawrence Group’s practice includes both local and national projects. 

Completed LG Austin projects include UT Austin’s Belo Center for New Media & KUT Public Media Studio, PeopleFund’s Center for Economic Opportunity, the Texas Society of Architects Offices in Austin and Sam Houston State’s Fred Pirkle Engineering Technology Building.  Projects on the boards include Georgetown City Hall and Municipal Court and the historic restoration/renovation to O. Henry Hall in downtown Austin for the Texas State University System. 

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
B. Arch. or M. Arch degree
Texas Licensed Architect
Knowledge of architectural practice, including design, documentation, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction technologies
Willingness to participate in an energetic design team environment
Proficiency with hand sketching/drawing
Proficiency with Revit, Excel & Word
Preferred proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
LEED AP (a plus)
